Wow, that's a weird post title! Anyway, congratulations to Jensen and Danneel on their engagement! 
And now for the weird trivial thing- tonight I was watching Conan and he did a bit in the monologue about them taping their 100th show. He showed a funny fake montage of people from tv saying things to congratulate him. What should flash by but a snippet from "Changing Channels' of the trickster saying 'tv land'! I almost got whiplash since I was playing a computer game and looked up and saw SPN! Whee! I have been wanting CBS to show a preview for SPN since they show ones for Vampire Diaries all the time and the CW is part of CBS, but here we had a quick flash of it on NBC ;-) Strange indeed.
I can't believe I haven't updated this thing since August....argh. I should post some reactions to episodes if I could organize my thoughts ;-) Needless to say, I loved Changing Channels - sheer genius and I particularly loved the funny Sam bits - Jared is so much better at comedy than he gives himself credit for ;-)

Here are some pictures of the new place. It's like my old one, only remodeled and all shiny and pretty. Somehow I failed to take any of the living room, but I will do that soon. The memory card seemed to fill up at only 40 pics and I could have sworn it held more than that.
I made sure I took a few pictures of the accent walls - the color is 'Treasure Hunt' and I have no idea why it's called that. It looks a bit like squash or sweet potato pie filling, lol. Very warm and pretty, at least I think so!

OMG, PATTY ROCKS BIG TIME!! SQUEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! SAMMY BLANKET, SAMMY BLANKET, SAMMY BLANKET!!

Yep, you read that right! Patty NOT only came and helped me move on Pre-Official Move day, but also bought me dinner at The Elephant Bar (our favorite restaurant and they changed the menu and it is awesome!), but also got me the Sammy Blanket for my birthday!! This on top of all the wonderful ecards, the amazing VID she did for me, cards in the mail complete with Jared doctoring, lol, and that's still not all - she is coming back tomorrow to help me again. I can't even express how grateful I am to her - because of her help and all the wonderful birthday goodies, this will go down as a most memorable birthday! I get a new apartment and oodles of goodies AND did I mention it - the SAMMY BLANKET from Star Collectibles!! I guess it's officially a throw, but we'll call it a blanket and it's GORGEOUS! All Sam all the time, my idea of heaven, lol.

So, more on the move update while I'm here - we managed to get quite a few things moved and I even did some more tonight after Patty left. I got the linen closet and coat closet done, most of the kitchen (except for hanging some things like the light above the sink, the whiteboard, etc.) and we even rolled the butcher block table over and she brought a handtruck that she used to take more shelving over and many boxes. It's awesome! The apartment is awesome as well - the accent wall is like a warm pumpkin color and looks great! The only downside is the beautiful new cabinets are much shallower and less roomythan the old ones, but I love recycling and donating and giving away things, so whatever I don't have room for, I can deal with it ;-)
The place is so bright and shiny ;-))

Time to celebrate Jared's 27th birthday, which is on July 19th, 2009! It's not quite the 19th here in CA yet, but I wanted to get something up faster this year than last ;-)

jarjen recently posted some Dallas Con 08 pics and one of them from the breakfast caught my eye. We all remember Jared flashing a bit when he was too hot, lol, but this one was when he was either opening or closing his belt after playing with the ice packs, I think. Anyway, I cut Jim out of the pic (sorry Jim!) and tried to cut most of the lady out who was standing behind them and got this result.
Wouldn't it be neat to have a standee of this in your house? ROFL!
Yikes. I love how he is looking right at the person who took the picture (sorry, I don't know who it is, Jarjen said she found the pics and didn't know either).
